Welcome to another exciting year at Jacobs High School! We are incredibly proud of our tradition of Golden Eagle excellence and even more energized about the future we are building together. Guided by our vision—All Students Graduate College and Career Ready—we remain deeply committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, connected, challenged, and fully supported.

This year, we are taking some deliberate, important steps to strengthen our school culture and maximize instructional time. We will focus on consistent on-time arrival, daily attendance, and routine student ID checks upon entry to keep our campus secure. Additionally, we are implementing the Yondr Pouch program with all other D-300 secondary schools to minimize digital distractions and foster a more focused, engaging, and connected learning environment.

To be completely candid: the start of this school year might feel a little different and a bit more structured than in the past. But true growth often requires building new routines, setting consistent boundaries, and sharing a collective commitment to excellence. These updates aren't about imposing restrictions; they are about intentionally creating an environment where our students can truly thrive academically, socially, and personally.

I have an unwavering belief in our students, our staff, and our Golden Eagle families. Together, we will continue to make Jacobs High School an exceptional place to learn and grow.
