Leah Guthrie was a student at Jacobs High School who passed away from sarcoma in February of 2014. Leah would have been a senior this year and to honor her memory, there will be a Make a Wish fundraiser at Jacobs during the lunch periods on Thursday Sept.1 and Friday Sept. 2. Last year, the students donated $407.00 and we are hoping to beat that total this year.   This year Jacobs' students and staff raised over $1300.  Thank you for your gernerosity and supporting this wonderful cause.  Please click on this link for more information from an article from the Daily Herald.
